4-H clubs are
encouraged to record the history and activities of their club. One of the best
ways to achieve this is by keeping an annual 4-H club scrapbook. Each Comal
County 4-H Club has the opportunity to enter a club scrapbook in an annual
contest. Scrapbooks are compiled throughout the year and due toward the end of
the 4-H year, prior to the annual 4-H awards program. Scrapbooks are
judged according to the Comal County 4-H Club Scrapbook Scorecard. Top 3 scrapbooks will be announced at
the awards program and in addition to receiving an award will be used for
promotional purposes during the months of August, September, and October.
Scrapbooks are due to the extension office by July 22nd.
Clubs have a
choice of scrapbook format:
v Traditional
Scrapbook - Printed photographs & memorabilia in a traditional scrapbook
format - Must be smaller than 13"x17".
v Digital Scrapbook
- create a scrapbook using a digital scrapbook format; print pages and submit
hard copy of scrapbook, must be smaller than 13"x17".
