Tom Green County Invitational Food Challenge, register by November 18

Tom Green County will be hosting an Invitational Food Challenge contest on December 16th with registration beginning at 12:00 PM at the First Financial Pavilion on the San Angelo Fairgrounds.  This contest will be open to the first 50 paid teams.  The age divisions of this contest will be Junior ( 3rd – 5th grade), Intermediate (6th – 8th grade), and Senior (9th – 12th grade) teams.  NEW THIS YEAR: this contest will be open to 4-H, FFA, and FCCLA teams.  
 
The entry fee will be $40/team, once payment is received your registration will be confirmed. There will not be a late registration period.

2020-2021 District 10 4-H Food Challenge

The District 10 4-H Food Challenge will be held April 28, 2021 at the Hill Country Youth Event Center in Kerrville, TX. This contest challenges teams of 4-H members to create a dish using only a predetermined number of ingredients. From these ingredients, team members must identify and prepare the dish, then make a presentation about it to the judges. 

Contest Registration: Registration will be conducted on 4-H Connect. Each member of a team will be required to register. The registration fee will be $15 per team member and will cover contest food and supplies, insurance, and awards. Registration will be open on 4-H Online (March 30 – April 6,2021). Late Registration will be from (April 7-8, 2021) ONLY for an additional $25 fee. No refunds will be given for Food Challenge. A substitution may be made if someone decides not to go or is ineligible. "


Comal County Food Challenge training

Coaches and 4-H members participating in or interested in joining a food challenge team check out these training opportunities with Jymann Davis and Victoria Grissom. The Coaches Training is only open to registered volunteers who plan on or have an interest in coaching a Food Challenge Team. Age specific trainings are open to coaches, 4-H members, and parents.

San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Food Challenge Contest...Registration December 1st

Reminder…If you have teams planning to attend the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Food Challenge Contest on January 27th, the registration deadline is December 1st. Please get registered on judgingcard.com.  Registration fee is $40.00 per team.  There will be a late registration fee of $100 per team.  Please get registered as soon as possible!

Invitational Food Challenge

Fayette County Fair Food Challenge - July 22


The Fayette County Fair Food Challenge is currently scheduled to take place as planned on July 22,2020 at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange.  We will continue to monitor and make adjustments as needed to keep participants safe.  This event will be a team event.  Below is the entry form and rules.  Entry forms and payment are due by July 13.  I know families are well aware of things may change and we will keep participants updated on any changes.  We will follow the 2019-2020 Food Challenge Guidelines.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
