On
Monday, July 20th, Rachel Hall, Victoria Grissom, and Flori Rosenthal presented
as part of the Mammen Family Public Library’s Career Day for Kids summer
series. Rachel and Victoria talked about their backgrounds in agriculture and
education, their jobs in the Extension Office, and the various programs
available for children through curriculum enrichment. Then, Flori presented all
about 4-H. Flori talked about the history of 4-H, the different clubs in Comal
County, the variety of projects available for members to participate in, and
how to contact the office. Flori also included a few Quiz Bowl questions to
help show how much you can learn! Rachel, Victoria, and Flori were all excited to
be involved in the Career Day for Kids and hope to be able to present again in
the future.
