2021 Houston Livestock Show Exhibitor Update

To our exhibitors,

Today, we announced the cancellation of the 2021 RODEOHOUSTON® competitions, concerts and entertainment, carnival, and other attractions and activities, which were recently rescheduled for May 4 - 23, 2021, due to the ongoing health situation. After this announcement, we wanted to reaffirm our commitment to hosting our Junior Livestock Show and Horse Show competitions in February and March, as private events.

The Junior Livestock Show is scheduled for Feb. 26 - March 21, and the Horse Show is scheduled for Feb. 25 - March 17. Judging Contests will continue as scheduled for March 5 -30. The full schedule of competitions can be found at rodeohouston.com.

As previously announced, many of our auctions are scheduled for May to accommodate the current health and safety guidelines.

These auctions will be held as private events. We are currently planning to host auctions in person, but we also will have virtual and live steam capabilities. While we will not be able to include the livestock projects in each auction, we plan to invite our eligible junior exhibitors to participate in the live events. These changes are based on the current health situation, and we are dedicated to keeping you informed of our plans. Details for these events will be announced once available.

Final plans and details about the Calf Scramble Program will be announced once available.

We look forward to welcoming exhibitors back to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. While 2021 will bring new challenges, we are thankful to be facing them together and appreciate your flexibility during these difficult times.
