It's no secret that EVERY 4-H'er has a story; a story unique to them. We think it's time more of those stories get told! Doing this can bring our youth together, encourage each other, and invite new members into the program. Stories of participating, learning, excelling, helping, serving; the list goes on!
We are excited about the opportunity to share these stories in various avenues, one of those being RFDTV and The Cowboy Channel! But, before we can re-tell that story, we need to hear about it! No one knows the many 4-H stories of youth across the state better than you, their agents. Want your youth to be featured? The first step is to submit their story! These stories do NOT have to be agriculturally focused as we will be using these stories across various avenues and we want to feature youth in every project and opportunity within 4-H. When nominating youth to be featured, think creatively of all the ways in which their story can be interpreted and all of the project areas it extends into.
These submissions can be about a single youth who has done exceptionally well in one area or another, or about someone who's life was truly changed because of the program, or about a group who created a unique event or opportunity in your county, or a club who is doing extraordinary things...The options are truly endless!
