Texas State 4-H Horse Show, Volunteers needed, due July 1

Volunteers needed!!

The Department of Animal Science would like to formally invite you to join them at the 59th Annual Texas State 4-H Horse Show July 24-29 at the Brazos County Expo in Bryan, TX. As many of you know, the state show is only possible by the dedicated efforts of MANY people and we hope that you will consider helping this year on our management team! No experience is necessary and we invite you to join us for any length of time, one day or the whole week.

To organize the show's management team, please fill in the Google sheet by July 1st (the sooner the better for planning purposes) if you would like to join us. Based on your responses, I will then be sharing more details, including class committee assignments and lodging details. Hotel accommodations and lunches are covered by the show for management team members.

We are very excited to announce that the State 4-H Horse Show will proceed at the Brazos County Expo July 19-24! Entries will be open on 4-H Connect June 4th to July 1st. Social distancing requirements have led us to some necessary modifications, but we are looking forward to seeing everyone and celebrating the progress of our youth in the 4-H Horse Project. Below you will find information about show modifications, schedule, validation refund requests, sponsorship needs, and a new program we've started on social media called Judging in June. Please read through the information and share with your horse families. As we all know, the situation we're in is ever-changing, so we appreciate your patience as we all do our best to make this event happen.
