2023-2024 Texas 4-H Council At-Large Application - Due March 30

The 2023-2024 Texas 4-H Council At-Large Application information has now been posted at https://texas4-h.tamu.edu/ambassadors/ under Texas 4-H Council. Interested 4-H members will apply on 4HOnline by selecting the “2023-2024 Texas 4-H Council At-Large Application” event.

          contract closely prior to planning to run either for At-Large Delegate or a 
           District representative)

Deadline is Thursday, March 30th. The committee will begin reviewing the applications and invite candidates for the first round of interviews tentatively scheduled for the week of April 24th

Applications will be accepted for the Texas 4-H Council At-Large Delegate positions and narrowed to a pool of applicants (approximately 12 or so to complete the speech/impromptu question part of the process) by the selection committee. The At-Large Delegate Presentations will take place on Monday, June 5th as part of Texas 4-H Roundup. Elections will be held using an electronic method and results announced Thursday, June 8th at the general assembly.

A Q&A Session is tentatively scheduled for 6:30 pm, Thursday March 2nd, if there is enough interest. This will be a time for 4-H members, parents, or CEAs to ask any questions regarding the At-Large Delegate application process or about serving on Texas 4-H Council. 2022-2023 Texas 4-H Council At-Large Application

The 2022-2023 Texas 4-H Council At-Large Application information has now been posted at

4HOnline by selecting the “2022-2023 Texas 4-H Council At-Large Application” event.
Deadline is Thursday, March 31st.



VOTE : 2021-2022 Texas 4-H Council At-Large Election Ballot

Our 2021-2022 At Large Delegate Presentations are now posted on our Texas 4-H YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/H1hyHgyQ1F4

 


There are 11 candidates. The video includes their presentations and then the impromptu Q&A sessions at the end of the video. The video is only 35 minutes, so not a long watch. We encourage all 4-H members to review the presentations before casting their vote. 

Voting will open on Friday, June 4 - Wednesday, June 9 through 4HOnline. Voting is open to ALL Senior level (9th-12th grade as of 9/1/2020 members). Members will select “2021-2022 Ballot: Texas 4-H Council At-Large Election” in the event list.

Members should vote on their top 6 candidates in rank order. There are 6 drop down menus, each contains all 11 names of the candidates. You may only vote for a candidate ONE TIME.  Any ballots with a candidate selected more than once will have the ENTIRE BALLOT DELETED and will not be considered. Also, You MUST SELECT 6 Candidates for your Ballot to be considered. 


2020- 2021 Texas 4-H Council Delegate At Large

The Texas 4-H Council is a team of 4-H members elected by their peers from across the state of Texas representing the twelve AgriLife Extension districts. Serving as ambassadors for the Texas 4-H program, members represent the organization statewide while collaborating with Extension faculty to plan, coordinate, and facilitate activities and events.  If you are interested in applying to become a Texas 4-H Council member, please see the link below for information on the application process.
