Fightin’ Texas Aggie Meat Judging Camp, Registration open now


You are invited to the 2022 Texas Aggie Meat Judging Camp July 21-23. This year will be a fun filled 2½ days of meat judging with the 2022 Fightin’ Texas Aggie Meat Judging Team, as well as an exciting tour of Kyle Field on Friday morning. Lodging and meals for campers will be provided and you will have plenty of product (beef, lamb and pork) to practice on. 

Registration is open now and space is limited.

2021-2022 District 10 Meat Judging Contest, registration open March 21

Below is the District Meat Judging Event Letter. Regular registration from March 21st to April 6th. Late Registration April 7-8th.

Regular Registration:
March 21st to April 6th, 2022

Late Registration:
Aprils 7th -8th 2022



Aggie Youth Meat Judging Clinic

Since this year’s judging clinics are not able to happen, Drs. Hale and Griffin have prepared a virtual Meat Judging workshop for 4-H and FFA members.  Registration is $15 per viewing device and you may register at the following link: https://www.judgingcard.com/Registration/Info.aspx?ID=12411 Registration closes at 12noon on Friday April 9. No refunds after this time. Registrations must be made via an FFA Chapter account or a County Extension account (via county office).


 

2020-2021 DISTRICT 10 4-H CONTESTS

2020-2021 DISTRICT 10 4-H LEADERS 4 LIFE SKILLATHON CONTEST

Date: Tuesday, April 20, 2021

*Schedule: 9:30 AM Virtual Orientation (via Zoom)

10:00 AM Contest Begins (first team enters prep room)

5:00 PM Results announced via social media

*Please note: This is a tentative schedule and is subject to change; a specific contest schedule will be based upon the number of teams entered

Deadlines: Regular Registration: March 9 - 23, 2021 at $10 per participant.

Late Registration: March 24 - 25, 2021 with an additional late fee of $25 making a total of $35 per participant.

2021 District 10 4-H Meat Judging 

DATE: Wednesday, April 14, 2021 – Meat Judging @ San Angelo 

REGISTRATION: Registration on 4-H Connect as follows:

o Regular Registration: March 22-30, 2021 on 4Honline

Lonestar Classic 4-H/FFA Meat Judging Contest

AMSA is excited to host the Lonestar Classic Meat Judging Contest for 4H and FFA youth! The contest will be held February 6, 2021 in Ennis, Texas at Columbia Meat Packing. The contest will be held immediately following the intercollegiate contest at 5:00pm central time. 2020 District 10 4-H Meat Judging Letter Update


There has been an adjustment in the price of the Meat Judging event to incorporate the price of food. The new Meat judging price will be $15.00.
