2021 Texas 4-H Roundup Details

The Texas 4-H Roundup Registration information is now posted on our Texas 4-H Roundup website under  https://texas4-h.tamu.edu/events/roundup/

Expectations of the 2021 Texas 4-H Roundup

This year ONLY YOUTH will be required to register for Texas 4-H Roundup. However, all youth must be accompanied by an adult. All Chaperone (Volunteer Screening) requirement still apply. County offices, you will be responsible for determining what adults will be chaperoning the youth attending form your county. If the youth are attending with their parent/guardian and they will not be responsible for other youth then volunteer screening is not a requirement.

Since this year’s event will primarily focus on contest, youth will check in and check out each day from their contest location. Upon check out, they will be in the care of their parent/guardian or chaperone.

**NOTE** As a reminder this year’s event is open to only SENIOR level 4-H members (9th – 12th graders as of 9/1/2020). We realize some of the contest specific rules and guidelines may still reflect Intermediate information regarding the contest opportunities, however the Texas 4-H Guide changes made in February noting NO INTERMEDIATES oversees all contest rules.

The Texas 4-H Roundup website has been updated to put a direct link to the HSS Form. We also have a direct link there as well for the Medication Forms (this is not uploaded at time of registration but required for those that is applies to when being chaperoned).

Those that would like to purchase a week-long pass for the Parking Garage you can do so as well. But there is a campus bus that makes stops at Reed and the MSC/Rudder area for those that prefer that transportation option or you can pay hourly for the garage as well.  Unfortunately, we do host several contests and activities at the Rudder/MSC areas and there are not any surface lots in those areas. https://transport2.tamu.edu/account/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2faccount
